Marlee, Sari, Stella, Nathan, Daniel, Shannon and Hugh were early risers when they joined over 60 students from our school in the Tomakin ANZAC Day march. You were great ambassadors for our school and I was very proud of all of you.
Outstanding performances in the 8/9 years age group - Ziggy 1st, Foxx 3rd, Oliver 4th, Nate 7th and Sunni 10th. Congratulations everyone for a putting in such a great effort - nearly everyone ran the 2 laps!!!!
As acknowledgement of our participation in Tangaroa Blue campaign, Bernadette and Anna screen printed our t-shirts with the 'clean up crew' logo. 3/4M and 4H have done a beach clean up, sorted the rubbish and logged it on the data base. The figures collected are used to work out where the rubbish has come from.
Anna made the design and it looks fantastic. On April 5, Years 3 & 4 went to Captain Oldrey Park and had a great time playing AFL. Each team played four games on a hot, hot, hot day. Team red won 2 out of the 4 games. By Stella
This term we did softball with Mr West. We learnt how to run around the bases touching them, we learnt how throw and catch and we learnt how to hit the ball. We used a tennis racquet and a cricket bat to hit the ball.
On the last day we played a really fun game of dodgeball. Next term we will be doing gymnastics and touch footy. By Shaun |
